Hidden text is supported. The DevExpress Rich Text Editor ships with complete set of pre-built text formatting dialogs. In addition to basic text formatting, you can enable live syntax highlighting so that text formatting is applied based on your document content/syntax similar to Visual Studio's code editor.
Lists
Bulleted / Numbered
Lists
The DevExpress Rich Text Editor males it easy to create bulleted and numbered lists in your documents to outline and arrange text. You can create a list from existing paragraphs using, or you can turn on the list feature and type the list as you go. To enable this feature, use the Bullets or Numbering button on the Home tab. You can use any character you like for the bullets in a bulleted list.

Tables
Table management UI inspired by Microsoft Word®.
Tables
The DevExpress WPF Rich Text Editor fully supports tables - you can nest tables, split and merge table cells, insert and remove rows, and apply borders and shading to individual cells. End-users have access to a Microsoft Word® style table management UI, thus supporting many of the table management features you expect from a text editor.
Drawing Objects
Pictures and Text Boxes
Drawing Objects
Floating Objects
Whether its pictures or text boxes, your RTF documents can include any number of floating objects, with full rotation support. Objects within a document can be anchored in one of two ways: either inline, which means that the object is displayed within the text stream, or floating. Floating means that the object is strictly positioned, absolutely or relatively within the document, regardless of the text flow. To specify how text flows around the object, the text wrapping type is used.
Inline Images
Images can be placed in your document in two ways: either inline or floating. Inline images are treated exactly like a character of text, which means their position is constrained to the lines of text on the page.
RTL Support
Provide 'right to left' UI for languages that need it.
RTL Support
Certain languages, such as Hebrew or Arabic, use the right-to-left writing system. The DevExpress WPF Rich Text Editor provides support for languages that are written from right to left. You can load, print and export (to PDF) documents with the right-to-left text direction.

Paste Special
Use the Paste Special dialog to paste data from the Clipboard into a document in the selected format. In the dialog, end-users can select the format for data contained in the Clipboard and paste them into the document as if that data is imported from the specified format.
