To find out which version is on your system, please follow the steps listed below:
VCL Controls
- Place the appropriate component onto a form.
- Right click the control to display the componet's popup menu. Version information will be listed on the menu.
Alternate method:
- In Windows Explorer, locate the component's BPL file.
- Invoke its properties dialog.
- Select the Version page and locate the file version including its Build number.
.NET Controls
- Execute your VS.NET IDE;
- Select the 'Tools | Customize Toolbox...' menu item;
- In the subsequent dialog window select the '.NET Framework Components' page;
- Locate the required product;

Determine its version by checking its 'Assembly Name' value, it will be as follows:
DevExpress.Product (X.X.X.X)
where X.X.X.X is the product's build number.
