Full CSS Support

The appearance of each and every web control produced by Developer Express can be customized using CSS. This approach is the best choice if you need centralized control over the appearance of several controls or the entire site.

CSS customization is a tedious task, especially for multi-element components like our ASP.NET Grid or Scheduler. To minimize the effort required to setup a style sheet, we allow you to instantly get a sample CSS file for any control using that control's smart tag.

Cookies Support

Our controls fully support cookies allowing your site's visitors to personalize pages as needed. If cookies are enabled, end-user customizations are saved and then restored in a future session. Your site's visitors will see the same navigation bar groups expanded. Tab controls will have the same selected pages, etc. They will load a page in exactly the same state as they left it.

ASP.NET Localization Support

All our ASP.NET components can be easily localized using standard ASP.NET 2 methods. All you need to do is place a resource file with localized strings into a special folder and name that resource file according to its language.

To make it easy to get started, a sample resource file is included with our installation.

With our controls, you don't have to worry about which software is used by your web site's audience. You won't depend on operating systems nor on a particular web browser.

• All controls ship with a number of built-in Themes - presets that specify control appearance and behavior.
• PNG files are supported. If you explicitly specify image size at design time, images with alpha channel are correctly displayed at runtime.
