|
The ExpressQuantumGrid Suite ships with hundreds of unique features many of which are simply unavailable from any competing library. Here is a brief overview of what you will experience once you begin using the most advanced visual component library available for Delphi and C++Builder.

|
- Four Built-In Data Views
The ExpressQuantumGrid ships with expandable cards (Card View), a table layout (Table View), nested band and multi row columns (Banded Table View), and a Chart View. Each of these Views includes numerous data representation and editing options such as end-user grouping, sorting, data filtering, data summary calculations, integrated cell editing, etc. - Custom Data Views
As you would expect, the ExpressQuantumGrid allows you to create unique Data Views by inheriting from existing Views and thus deliver solutions that accurately address the needs of even the most demanding user. - Different Views for Master and Detail Records
Flexibility is a hallmark of the ExpressQuantumGrid Suite and is manifested in its ability to display data at each master/detail level using its own Data View. For instance, you could deliver a solution in which a Banded Table View is available for master records and a Card View available for detail records. If a table includes multiple detail relationships, you can mix and match Data Views so that you deliver the optimum visual and data representation solution for your customers.
- Easy-to-Use API

- Master-Detail Layouts without Feature Sacrifice
Views are separate objects fully-functional in regards to data representation and editing. Thus, all features such as data editing, grouping, sorting, filtering, summaries, and preview sections are available regardless of whether the View is used to represent master or detail records. - When Performance Matters
When it comes to performance, nothing comes close to the ExpressQuantumGrid when you need to display thousands of records on screen. Powered by our ExpressDataController engine, the ExpressQuantumGrid delivers astonishing speeds when grouping, sorting, filtering or when computing data summaries.
- A Myriad of Data Views at Your Disposal
Because View objects are stored within the grid control's View collection, you can create as many Views as you require. We never limit you to a specific master-detail representation scheme. The View collection is especially useful if you need to provide different Views for different master rows. You can also create multiple Views and allow end-users to switch between different data representation formats at runtime.
- Increased Value of Detail Views
With the ExpressQuantumGrid, you can optionally hide expand buttons to prohibit end-users from opening empty details. In addition, the ExpressQuantumGrid v6 allows you to hide tabs for empty detail Views, thus ensuring that end-users find valuable information faster.
