The SplitContainerControl offers the following benefits:

• Horizontal or vertical layout.
• Optional caption for the entire control and for each pane.
• Customizable caption location for each element.
• Customizable minimum size for each pane.
• Fixed pane. You can force a pane to maintain it's size when the entire split container is being resized. If none of panes have been chosen, both panes will resize proportionally.
