The PictureEdit control can be used standalone in both unbound and data-aware modes. You can also use it to display image data in data-aware container controls (such as the XtraGrid, XtraTreeList, and XtraVerticalGrid). It offers the following features:

- Built-in context menu that allows end-user image manipulations - clipboard operations, loading images from files and saving them.
- Multiple image alignment options.
- Multiple image stretching modes.
- Customizable glyph alignment.
- Image or byte array store modes (in data-bound mode).
