Skinning Support
Like other Developer Express .NET Windows Forms controls, the XtraBars Suite fully supports skinning of all interface elements. 
Operating System Style
The XtraBars Suite, as well as all other Windows® Forms products from Developer Express, supports native rendering. Once this style has been applied, your toolbars and menus will be painted using the currently applied visual style and color scheme.
Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003 Paint Styles
In addition to native painting, the XtraBars Suite supports the paint styles introduced in the following versions of Microsoft Office - 2000, XP and 2003. 
Bar Appearance
If you need toolbars and sub menus with custom defined gradient backgrounds and different fonts - it's no problem. You can either specify a common appearance for all the toolbars and sub menus in your application or set a custom style for each particular bar. There are no limits to style customization! 
Alpha Blending and Background Images
Custom gradient coloring is just the start with XtraBars! You can also implement highly specific UIs via XtraBar's alpha blending capabilities. This feature allows you to:
- Add transparency to all your bars in order to make the form's background image visible;
- Provide common background images for bars and sub menus;
- Specify each individual bar or menu background and its transparency.
