Circular Gauges Available in Any Shape

The Silverlight Gauge Control provides numerous options to easily create the following circular gauge types: Full, Three Quarters, Half, Top-Left Quarter, Top-Right Quarter and Wide. Each of these gauge types ships with numerous styles that mimic real-life gauges.

Once you have created a circular gauge, you can add all required elements - from scales and needles to markers, range bars, etc.

Horizontal and Vertical Linear Gauges

The Gauge Control provides built-in presets for horizontal and vertical Linear Gauges. Like Circular Gauges, these gauge types ships with numerous styles that mimic real-life gauges.

Once you have created a linear gauge, you can add all required elements - from scales and level bars to markers, range bars, etc.

Multiple Predefined Gauge Models

DevExpress Silverlight Gauge Controls ship with over a dozen predefined gauge models. These models fully define the look and feel of the Gauge control and all its elements. This ensures that circular and linear gauge appearance will be the same when both are used within your application.

The following gauge models are currently available: Default, Clean White, Cosmic, Smart, Progressive, Eco, Future, Classic, iStyle, Yellow Submarine, Magic Light, Red Clock/Thermometer.

Animation Effects for Value Indicators

You can use life-like animation effects for all elements that indicate the manner in which values change over time (needles, level bars, markers, range bars). To implement animation effects, you simply need to select animation type and specify its duration.

Hit-Testing and Gauge Interactivity

You can introduce end-user interaction or allow data input via gauge controls by using the built-in hit-testing engine. When handling mouse events, you can determine whether the mouse pointer is over a particular element - such as the circular gauge's needle.

Once you obtain this information, you have an endless number of ways in which to enhance data presentation. For instance, you can display tooltips with additional information or you can allow end-users to drag-and-drop elements thus changing the underlying data.
