CodeRush Challenge at DevConnections 2007

Sara is a spokesmodel. Sara is not a programmer.

At the DevConnections conference in Las Vegas NV, we took a spokesmodel, gave her 6 hours training and then let her go head-to-head with experienced software developers to determine who could write working code faster, more efficiently, in either C# or VB.

With the help of CodeRush Sara went undefeated. She performed so well, that for several matches we handicapped Sara's efforts by allowing her to only use two pencils to enter all keystrokes. She still won. For the final programmer, Sara first completed the code challenge in VB, then proceeded to finish it in C# before he managed to get a compile in his favorite language.
