                                  • Hello, can't seem to find this piece of info. How could I do that? Can I just specify a path to a json file in .Bind(...)? I tried that but I get an error that a particular property was not found in the data source (even though it's there - not sure if it actually reads the data or considers the data as the path itself). So before I blindly check any further I wanted to know what's the correct way, if any, to bind to a json file.

                                Hello,

If you mean BootstrapGridView for ASP.NET Core, it does not provide this functionality. However, you can use the ASP.NET Core DataGrid component to accomplish this task. Check the https://demos.devexpress.com/ASPNetCore/Demo/DataGrid/AjaxRequest/%5D">Data Grid - Data Binding - Ajax Request demo illustrating how to load data from a JSON file to a grid.

P.S. The Bootstrap Controls for ASP.NET Core suite is in maintenance mode. These controls won't be developed further: https://community.devexpress.com/blogs/aspnet/archive/2018/08/10/simplifying-our-asp-net-control-suites.aspx%5D">Simplifying our ASP.NET Control Suites. We strongly recommend that you use the https://demos.devexpress.com/aspnetcore/%5D">DevExpress ASP.NET Core controls instead.

I understand. Unfortunately I can't switch to DataGrid, but it's fine, I just deserialize in the controller and send a model instead. Just wanted to know if it can be done.
