                                  • Hello, can't seem to find this piece of info. How could I do that? Can I just specify a path to a json file in .Bind(...)? I tried that but I get an error that a particular property was not found in the data source (even though it's there - not sure if it actually reads the data or considers the data as the path itself). So before I blindly check any further I wanted to know what's the correct way, if any, to bind to a json file.

If you mean BootstrapGridView for ASP.NET Core, it does not provide this functionality. However, you can use the ASP.NET Core DataGrid component to accomplish this task. Check the">Data Grid - Data Binding - Ajax Request demo illustrating how to load data from a JSON file to a grid.

P.S. The Bootstrap Controls for ASP.NET Core suite is in maintenance mode. These controls won't be developed further:">Simplifying our ASP.NET Control Suites. We strongly recommend that you use the">DevExpress ASP.NET Core controls instead.

I understand. Unfortunately I can't switch to DataGrid, but it's fine, I just deserialize in the controller and send a model instead. Just wanted to know if it can be done.
