A PDF file is opened by the browser.

As a comment on this, when using the Print Dialog, the Print Job appears to get rejected or cancelled, or at least it did during my testing.

Do you mean that even the workaround I mentioned does not work? I was using Google Chrome 77.0.3865.75, and I was able to print out the first page of our Invoice demo report to a physical printer without any issues.

Dmitry, I'm also using the same version of chrome and have performed the following steps, when choosing to create a print job, the print job is created briefly, then disappears:

                                  1. Open the Invoice Report Demo
                                  2. Click the print button
                                  3. New Tab is provided with a "PDF" document
                                  4. Click on Print Button within "PDF" viewer
                                  5. Chrome Print Dialog Appears, Attempt to print all, or a custom range (in my case just the one page)
                                  6. Windows creates a print job (illustrated by printer icon), but the job never gets received or handled by the printer, and no pages are subsequently printed.

If you need me to document this with a video, then I'm more than happy to do so.

                                  Hi Mark,

No, I don't think that we need any proof of this behavior. I'd only like to clarify that I used a network printer during my testing session. Let's see how quickly and efficiently we can come up with a fix for this problem on our side - we'll probably submit this issue to the Google Chrome team if our efforts aren't successful.

Keep an eye on this thread for further updates.

Dmitry, that's fine, if you do need further info, don't hesitate to ask. I've also been testing using a network printing during my testing.

                                  Hello,

I have the same issue on my web application. Do you find any fix to correct this issue ? I know that I can open a PDF file and print it but I want to print it directly.

                                  Thanks

                                  Hello Anthony,

Our developers are working hard to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with an exact date when this issue will be fixed in the DevExpress control because it depends on many factors. You will receive an e-mail message when the status of this issue is changed.

                                  Thanks,
                                  Elliot

I would like to ask, if there will be a hotfix for older versions (v12.2)

                                  Dimitris
