                                Yes, it is possible to do so. The easiest way is to manually show a tooltip by calling the ShowHint(String, Point) method when the cursor is over a button. Please try this solution and let me know your results.

                                I researched this scenario and came to the conclusion that it is better to use the GetActiveObjectInfo event to display tooltips for your buttons. I illustrated the main idea of this approach in the sample I attached. Note that the code I used is a part of your CustomDrawCell code, so I recommend you implement a few additional methods to avoid code duplication.                                   Hi,

                                  Just got back and tried ShowHint.

                                  My implementation works when tooltip is shown immediately. But when I added the delay or the default behavior, it does not work.
                                  And this is due to where I placed it.
                                  Where should I use it so that it would show properly?
