                                I implemented this 'roll your own' solution.   It seems to work fine, at least for IE11 and Chrome.
                                Feedback would be appreciated!

                                function exportToExcel(e) { var tv = $("#Job_Progress_TreeList").dxTreeList("instance"); var columns = tv.getVisibleColumns(); var data = tv.getVisibleRows(); var csvContent = ""; for (i = 0; i < columns.length; i++) { csvContent += columns[i].caption + ","; } csvContent += "\r\n"; for (i = 0; i < data.length; i++) { row = data[i].values; row.forEach(function (item, index) { if (item === undefined || item === null) { csvContent += ","; } else { csvContent += item + ","; }; } ); csvContent += "\r\n"; } var blob = new Blob([csvContent], { type: "text/csv;charset=utf-8;" }); if (navigator.msSaveBlob) { navigator.msSaveBlob(blob, 'Job_Progress.csv') } else { var link = document.createElement("a"); var url = URL.createObjectURL(blob); link.setAttribute("href", url); link.setAttribute("download", "Job_Progress.csv"); document.body.appendChild(link);; document.body.removeChild(link); }; }

                                  Hello John,

                                  Thank you for sharing your solution with us. I believe it will be helpful for other users.

                                  One issue:  In Chrome, the event would fire twice resulting in two downloads.   So I used a standard jQuery button, and it works fine.

                                Hello John,

                                At present, dxTreeList does not support data exporting. We are going to add this feature in the future.

                                • john moeller 08.17.2017

                                  Do you have an ETA for this feature.   My end users are requesting, and I need to inform them when it will be available and/or write my own export to excel feature.

                                  Also, will you be adding State Storing to DxTreeList at some point?  If so, when?

                                  Thanks, JM...

                                  Hi John,
                                  I am unable to provide you with an estimated time frame. We refrain from announcing any specific features for a product in R&D prior to its release. We take this position for many reasons, including the fact that by promising X or Y, some developers may end up planning their development schedules around our promised feature set, which can change at any time. We will keep this feature on our radar, but it is still premature to discuss when it will be available for release.

                                  Fair enough.

                                  Could you perhaps provide a JQuery/Javascript example that exports DxGrid or DxTreeList data to Excel?

                                • Alex Skorkin - DevExpress 08.17.2017

                                  As we discussed in this thread, dxTreeList does not support data exporting.
                                  See the Export to Excel demo to learn how you can achieve this with the data grid.
