                                Hello,

                                I apologize for the delay.
Thank you for the question. These days we've been a little bit overloaded with support queries.
We are working on your issue, and will answer ASAP.

                                Thanks,
                                Dennis

                                Hi Bud,

Please refer to Multiple ListViews for a sample project. Also I suggest taking a look at the MDI demo; you may find that helpful as well.
If you can provide a more detailed description and perhaps screenshots of what you would like to achieve, we can provide a more precise solution.

                                Thanks,
                                Dennis

Here are screen shots of material I have already build using your tools. I would like to move this into XAF. The dialogs show an upper tab control containing a databound gridcontrol. The bottom detail view (also on a tabbed container) can be hidden or shown.

                                Hi Bud,

                                Thank you for your screenshots.
To accomplish this task, I suggest you implement a custom action container based on the tab control. Its tabs will be created according to the items of the ShowNavigationItem action of the standard ShowNavigationItemController.
When moving between tabs you will simply execute this action to get the required list view.
Please refer to the corresponding KB Article demonstrating how to implement such an action container: ID AK17640 (OBSOLETE - How to replace the navbar with a treelist?).
You can optionally change the MasterDetailMode mode for your list views to see the detail form below.
                                Does this information help you?

                                Thanks,
                                Dennis

Yes - good help. I'm to old for this sh... At 81 my life seems to be a constant round of studying. Thankfully I'm still capable of that so I enjoy. Looking I think what you provided will work. I need to study XPO in more detail - then get back to XAF for a week or two of additional study. Your tools are absolutely superb but distinctly brain taxing LOL.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. But we have a question: are you really 81 years old? If so, you are a super STAR! You are the oldest customer we've ever worked with!

Yup - born April 27, 1927. I'm a veteran of 3 wars and was involved in testing atomic bomb effects on Eniwetok and the Nevada Proving Grounds. I've witnessed over 12 blasts from 15 miles away. I was a Navy Chief Petty Officer with the distinction of making chief at a younger age than any. I absolutely love programming. I knew and regularly spent time with Leslie Solomon of MITS Altair fame. In my view you folks make the finest tools in the business but they are also very learning intensive. Keeps my mind young and active I believe.
The screen shots I provided are involved with a package being developed for Fire Protection Services. They have technicians in the field servicing things like fire extinquishers, hoses, sprinkler systems and the like. The part that was finished before I got involved with XAF is designed to manage service addresses, billing addresses and headquarters addresses - basically the CRM part of the package but I want to roll it all into XAF so I'm studying hard. Oh - I love your videos - they make learning much easier.
