                                  • Steps to Reproduce:

                                    <asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Test" />

                                    <dxe:ASPxComboBox ID="ASPxComboBox1" runat="server"

                                        ClientInstanceName="ddl" DropDownStyle="DropDown" ValueType="System.String">

                                        <Items>

                                            <dxe:ListEditItem Text="Text - 1" Value="Value - 1" />

                                            <dxe:ListEditItem Text="Text - 2" Value="Value - 2" />

                                        </Items>

                                    </dxe:ASPxComboBox>

                                    There are only a button and an AspxComboBox. The button only fires a postback. Let's test this page:

                                    1. Select Combo to show "Text - 1", and click button. After postback, the Combo shows "Text - 1". Correct!

                                    2. Enter "1234" into Combo, and click button. After postback, the Combo still shows "Text - 1". It lost your entered "1234". Why?

                                    3. If you set Combobox as "EnableViewState=False", the above 2 works fine. Is this by design?

                                FG,

                                If you don't mind, I'll make this issue Public. Please let me know if it's safe to do this.

                                Thanks,
                                Alex

                                Sure, you can. It is no problem to me.

                                By the way, does your Public Fix cover errors before? For example, I requested 2 Public Fix recently. One is DXperience-9.2.4.9242.exe, and another one is DXperience-9.2.4.9248.exe. Should I install DXperience-9.2.4.9248.exe ONLY?

                                Thanks,

                                FG,

                                Yes, you should install only the latter build (9.2.4.9248) on your machine, because it contains all fixes included in the previous build (9.2.4.9242).

                                Thanks,
                                Alex
