i have a problem with the integrated filter in the column header of a TreeListControl.
When i try to filter hierarchic data, the filter only seems to work on the root layer.
Please take a look at the short sample files, which illustrate the problem.
When you filter the Value-column for one of the 3 available Values, nothing will be displayed.
But i would like to see the inner Rows that contain the filtered Value and also their parents so that the hierarchy is kept.
At the moment i had to work arround that problem by filtering the underlying data in the code.
Is there any way to achieve that directly in the TreeListControl?
This behavior is by design. If the ParentNode does not meet the criteria, it is filtered out with its child.
To accomplish your task, you can use the TreeListView.CustomNodeFilter event (review the TreeList how to filter only the child nodes ) and in this event handler, you can check to see whether or not one of child nodes meets the criteria and decide whether or not you need to hide the parent node.
