When I first started learning C#, CodeRush was a great help for me. Instead of looking up the syntax for everything, I got up to speed a lot faster with the help of CodeRush tips and the templates. These days, I practically live in VS2008, and I use a CodeRush/Refactor! Pro function almost every second of it. I find that CodeRush is just as valuable for a beginner as a seasoned professional.
