Features & Benefits
Skins allow you to create visually appealing interfaces and deliver more compelling solutions to your end-users. A skin contains bitmaps showing all control elements in their various states (normal, hot-tracked, selected, pressed, etc.) Since each control is painted using the corresponding bitmap, the appearance of the entire skinned application does not generally depend on the operating system. For instance, by using skins, you can introduce the XP look and feel into applications that are not running within the XP operating system.
ExpressSkins ships with an integrated Skin Editor – allowing you to modify existing skins (this beta ships with 2 skins) or create your own to address specific customer requirements.
