Compatibility Questions

Controls with Windows 8.1 support are available in a separate installer tagged as version 13.2. DevExpress will maintain a separate installer until the official release of v13.2 for all DevExpress products in 4Q, 2013.

You can only use DevExpress Windows 8 XAML Controls v13.2 with Windows 8.1, as certain APIs will be missing for proper use. If writing apps for Windows 8, you should continue using v13.1.

Note: You can continue to use DevExpress Windows XAML Controls v13.1 in Windows 8.1 compatibility mode. In this instance, you may encounter warnings that are caused by changes in the Windows 8.1 API.
