                                  • Hi There,
In my project, we want a combo box with button like Visual studio " Start button".
The button will have a down arrow . on click of that the other options will be displayed.
Each of the drop down item is a button.
Please have a look at the screenshot.

I was looking for a suitable control but could not find a exactly what I need.

Any suggestion? Sample project will be wonderful.

                                Hello Sabur,

ComboBoxEdit is an editor, while this item in Visual Studio is a menu item that can display sub items. I recommend that you try our BarSplitButtonItem and check if its operation is what you are looking for.

Would you please clarify what element you want to make transparent? It would be great if you can indicate it in a screenshot.

As for specifying the glyph size, set the BarSplitButtonItem.GlyphSize property to Custom and assign your size to the BarSplitButtonItem.CustomGlyphSize property.

                                  Hi Sabur,

Standalone Bar Controls allow you to accomplish this task by setting a single property - ShowBackground. If you set it to false, your bar will be transparent. After that, you can show a border below your bar and specify any background brush there. Attached is a simple sample where you can see this approach. Please try it on your side and let me know your results.

                                  Hi Ivan,
I tried with that but it is not giving me the result.
Here (Attachment) is the sample project. I am using the example project of BarSplitbutton of DevExpress.

In that example, ToolbarControl is declared in BarContainerControl. However, it's possible not to place ToolbarControl in this container: BarContainerControl. Try declaring your ToolbarControl this way and check if this helps.
