                                  • Hello,

                                    After upgrading from DevExpress v17.1.12 to v18.2.4 , I started getting only dates (day-month-year) instead of dates and hours (day-month-year hour:minutes:seconds) in DateTime (coming from a database) fields.

                                    Did you guys made any change on that functionality (maybe changed the default format of datetime fields)? Do you know how can I get that fixed (so I can get date + hour + minutes + seconds again from that DateTime)?

                                    Thank you in advance!

                                Please refer to the PivotGridControl does not show the time part for date-time field values when the Default group interval is used breaking change describing how to resolve this issue.

                                  I tried to add those that line of code (DevExpress.XtraPivotGrid.PivotGridField.DefaultDateFormat.FormatString = "G";) to this simple example I found and edited (as attached), but it didn't work. If you run it refering to Devexpress 17.1 it comes with date and hours, but if it refers to Devexpress 18.2, it comes only as a date.

                                  Hello Luiz,

                                  I reproduced the issue with the PivotGridField.DefaultDateFormat.FormatString property on my side and created a separate report regarding this behavior: The PivotGridField.DefaultDateFormat property does not have any effect.

                                  In the meantime, I suggest you specify the following settings for all DateTime fields with the Default group in your application:

                                  [C#]
                                  dateTimeField.ValueFormat.FormatType = FormatType.DateTime; dateTimeField.ValueFormat.FormatString = "G";
