Hi, any news or estimation about newer Visual Studio support? Having issues with msbuild when trying to build DevExpress since latest VS 2017 and 2010 together on one machine.

                                  Hello Václav,

We do not have any estimate about newer Visual Studio support. The current research has shown that certain assemblies from Visual Studio 2010 will still be needed to compile our .Design assemblies. We will update the KB article once we have any news or progress. Please stay tuned.
As for the issue you are having, would you please share Source Builder Tool's log files so that I can examine them?

                                Hi ,

Thank you for sharing the log files. I examined them and found that MVC3 is not installed on your machine. Please installit in order to build our DevExpress.Web.Mvc* and dependent projects.

Also, as you probably noticed, certain projects contain two csproj files in the project folder. The second csproj file is configured to build the project with the NET Standard framework. But, since the value of the AssemblyName token in these two csproj files is the same, the error that the Source Builder Tool shows looks confusing. These errors can be ignored since the original project is buildt successfully. In any case, I have attached the modified version of the Source Builder Tool utility, which skips compiling DevExpress NET Standard and ASP.NET Core projects, since they should be built differently. Run the attached version of the utility to skip compiling these projects.

                                  Hi Alisher,

Do you have one for 17.2? Got errors when build with this version. thanks

                                  Hi William,

The attached version should work correctly with v17.2. Please share build logs so that I can examine them.
