                                  Hi Martin,

Thank you for providing a screencast. I have tried to reproduce this issue locally but my attempts were unsuccessful. I have recorded and attached a screencast to this comment that illustrates the behavior on my side. To help us reproduce this issue on our side, please export and provide us with your Visual Studio and CodeRush settings. Refer to the following article: How to: Share Settings Between Computers or Visual Studio Versions for instructions on how to export Visual Studio settings. To export CodeRush settings, perform the following steps:

                                  1. From the Visual Studio menu, select "Support\Import and Export Settings...".
                                  2. Select the "Export 'CodeRush for Roslyn' settings" item in the opened dialog.
                                  3. Click the "Next" button and specify a path for archive with settings.
                                  4. Click the "Finish" button.

Alex i could reproduce it now - the key is that the baseclass is in another assembly! See attachment - you can replicate both Problems with it!

                                  Hi Martin,

Thank you for providing the sample project and CodeRush settings. I have reproduced the issue locally and we are working on it.

Also, I have noticed that you place using references inside an active namespace. CodeRush for Roslyn has an option for namespace references' declaration style. I recommend you set this option in accordance with your style. For this, please perform the following steps:

                                  1. From the Visual Studio menu, select "CodeRush\Options..." .
                                  2. In the tree view on the left, navigate to the "Editor\C#" folder.
                                  3. Select the "Programming Style" options page.
                                  4. Select the "Place namespace import/using references inside the active namespace" item in the "Namespace references declaration style" group.
