I updated my CodeRush today to the latest version. After opening Visual Studio, I got the register your product window. When I click Register Your Product the window disappears and nothing happens.
I tried to go to the CodeRush menu > About > Register Your Product but I get the same results.
I am concerned to hear that you are experiencing this problem after updating our tools.
I have tried to reproduce it locally, but clicking the "Register Your Product" link works as expected on my machine. It is possible that this is a permissions-related issue. Would you please launch Visual Studio via the "Run as Administrator" and check whether or not this makes a difference?
If this does not help, please do the following:1. In Visual Studio click the "CodeRush | Support | Extension Folder..." to open a folder where CodeRush for Roslyn extension is installed.
2. Go to the "Trial" folder.
3. Launch the "DevExpressCodeRushRegistration" application, click the "Registered Installation" button, provide your DevExpress.com account credentials and click the "Log In" button to finish the registration process.
