A new property has been added - InvalidStyle.

This property allows you to define the appearance for an editor in invalid state: this style is applied to an editor when its value validation fails.

                                [ASPx]
                                <dx:ASPxTextBox ID="tbRequired" runat="server"> <ValidationSettings RequiredField-IsRequired="true" ErrorDisplayMode="ImageWithText" ErrorFrameStyle-Border-BorderWidth="0" /> <InvalidStyle BackColor="#ffffcc" Border-BorderColor="Red" Border-BorderStyle="Solid" /> </dx:ASPxTextBox> <dx:ASPxButton runat="server" Text="Submit" />

Note that you can also use CSS classes to define how an editor will look in normal (optional), required and invalid states.
