                                  • Hello XAF Team,

How can I set RibbonControl .SelectedPage to 'Home', after I disabled ViewNavigationController in a window controller? My simple XAF WinForms application always shows 'View' page as the selected page in the RibbonControl.

I tried to set RibbonControl.SelectedPage to RibbonControl.Pages.GetPageByName("Home") or RibbonControl.MergedPages.GetPageByName("Home") in OnViewControlsCreated() method in a view controller, but it did not work ('View' page is always the selected page).

                                    Looking forward to your suggestions!

                                Hi James,
                                Thank you for contacting us.
You can implement a solution from the How to select a different ribbon page article.
In XAF we have a RibbonControl descendant that manages pages and groups visibility.
To accomplish your task I suggest that you handle the Form.Shown event and set RibbonControl.SelectedPage. Let me know if I can assist you further

Someone could write an example of code to handle the  "Form.Shown" event. What is the descendant of RibbonControl in XAF which handles the visibility of pages and groups?. The Shown event to which object  belongs?

                                • Hello Joe,
