                                  • Hi,
Sorry to bother you with this but I have spent the last couple of days creating DevExpress ASP.NET projects. I am having a problem where I add a table to the content, then several AspxHTML controls and text so the controls take up more vertical space than in available on the page.

I expected that the app would automatically show a scrollbar when displayed in the browser so the user can scroll and see the other controls. I cannot seem to make this appear. The templates I created were created as apps with and without bottom panels.

Could you advise me as to how I can make the main content scrollable?

                                • Hello Robert,

Would you please clarify the issue you have faced in greater detail? A screencast illustrating how to reproduce this issue would be of great help. For example, use the Jing tool for this purpose.
If this issue is browser-specific, specify the browser family/version. We will do our best to help you.

                                  Hi Larry,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner as I was called away. The problem is quite simple to reproduce.

                                  1. Create an ASP.NET DevExpress Application.
                                  2. Drop some control, say AspxPageControl onto the default page, set the controls height to 1500px.
                                  3. Start the app.
                                  4. You cannot scroll down to the end of the page to see the bottom of the control.

                                  Thats the problem.

                                • Hi,

I am not able to reproduce the issue on my side (See the attached video).

Please provide us with a screencaset that illustrates the problem in action. You can use the Jing tool for this purpose.

Also, Please provide us with the following information about the browser you are using:

                                    - The browser family/version (make a screenshot of the "Help -> About" dialog box)
                                    - For IE only, the Browser/Document Mode settings (press the F12 key to invoke the Dev Toolbar)

I'm having this same issue. I have a page with a tab page control with a grid view. In fact no where in my project do I get a scrollbar. When I expand the detail rows and they extend beyond the bottom of the browser window, there is no scrollbar that appears. I need to have the end user be able to scroll when content exceeds the height of the browser window. See screen capture. I'm developing this for MS Edge but I get no scrollbar in IE or Chrome either.

                                  Thanks for any help.

I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (T463761: ASPxPageControl does not display tabs when content is too high). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.
