                                  • Hi,
                                     How do I format a Date column in a Pivot Grid? I want column to show up entries like 01/31/2011. I tried this

                                                        field.CellFormat.FormatType = DevExpress.Utils.FormatType.DateTime;
                                                        field.CellFormat.FormatString = "MM/dd/yyyy";

                                    It did not work. If you have a quick fix or code snippet, It would be of great help.

                                Hi Siva,

                                Thank you for posting your code snippet. If you wish to apply a custom format to Field Values, you will need to adjust the PivotGridFieldBase.ValueFormat property. Please refer to the DateTime format strings ticket for a sample project that illustrates this approach in action.
