                                  Hello Stephane.
Our developers have examined this behavior and come to the conclusion that it is by design. At this moment, the cxGridView is locked, and its ViewInfo cannot be calculated and painted when the modal window is shown. It is not correct to show dialogs when the ViewInfo is being calculated.
To solve this problem, we recommend that you call the Abort "silently" and show a message after that to allow the GridView to recalculate its data.
                                  Hopefully, my explanation is clear.
                                  Best regards,
                                  Ingvar.

                                  Hello Ingvar
I'm sorry but this is a regression since it used to works in build < 53
I'm using this way of doing for years and never ever get a problem until today.
Please have a deeper look on this !

                                  Hello Stephane.
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, we can't change this behavior without applying significant modifications to our ExpressQuantumGrid sources. However, I've found a workaround for you.
You can simply disable TcxGrid's redrawing, before showing a message and enable restoring after showing it.
Attached is an example that shows how to perform this task. Please try this solution, and let us know your results.
                                  Best regards,
                                  Ingvar.
