Hello,

We're glad to inform you that this feature has been implemented in the next major version of the XtraCharts Suite (v2009 vol 2).

In this version, apart from the manual mode, two automatic date-time scale modes have been introduced. The modes are defined by the DateTimeScaleMode property of the X-axis. When the manual mode is enabled, you can manually define the DateTimeGridAlignment and DateTimeMeasureUnit properties. And, with automatic modes defined, these properties' values are calculated automatically, and can be obtained in a special ChartControl.DateTimeMeasurementUnitsCalculated (WebChartControl.DateTimeMeasurementUnitsCalculated) event handler.

In case of any difficulty with using this functionality in XtraCharts, please write to our Support Team or refer to the XtraCharts documentation, which will be supplied with the official release of v2009 vol 2. Note that we're planning to release XtraCharts v2009 vol 2 later this summer.

Thanks, George.
R&D, .net Team.
