          Implement Excel 2007 like hierarchical filter with an incremental search and multiselect with the Shift button

            • Dear Sir,

              The filter is not make sense when user try to filter the item.
              Unbelievable Devexpress will make this mistake when implement the filtering engine.

              We did a small group of testing for our customer to play around the pivot grid,
              total user = 49 (31 = Male, 18 = Female)
              - 100% of user choose - filtering engine not user friendly
              - 81% of user choose - reject the use the filtering

              - 87% of user choose - Nice user interface
              - 100% of user choose - Excellent Performance
              and other...

          Hi Yong,

          Thank you for the report. Unfortunately, the current XtraPivotGrid doesn't provide this filter mode. I have converted this issue into a suggestion. Our developers will discuss it regarding future PivotGrid versions.

          Hello Yong,

          In 10.2, we have implemented hierarchical filters for grouped fields.
          Incremental search in the new filter popups can be performed by typing the keyword when the popup is invoked. Multiple selection via the Shift button is also supported.
          In 11.1, we plan to provide a text field for entering search keywords.
