Follow these steps to reproduce:

Enter 'Smith' in Last Name Filter cell. (or any other filter that will bring back multiple results in your sample). Click into another cell. Double-click on the Last Name Filter cell to highlight the text. Click Delete. The text is removed but the list of records does not change accordingly. Click or tab into another cell and 'smith' re-appears in the Last Name filter cell.

Hello Steven,

It appears that you forgot to attach a sample project. Could you please attach it to your next message.

I'm awaiting your response.

Thanks,
Stan.

It is the exact same project that can be found in B136668. If you would prefer that we attach the exact same project to each issue we open we would be more than happy to do so, but I figured it would be easier for everyone if we just had a single project linked.

The same behavior can be seen in your XtraGrid Features Demo under the 'Auto Filter Row' view.

-Open the 'Auto Filter Row' heading from the demo
-Type the word 'data' for the Name column (you should see three items)
-single click on the priority field of the 'Data Archiving' record
-Double-click the auto-filter cell that you just typed into (the word data should now be highlighted)
-Hit the delete key
****** The autofilter does not revert back to empty
-Click onto the 'Data Archiving' cell
-The auto-filter text reappears after it was deleted

NOTE: This behavior does not occur when you hit Backspace to clear the autofilter contents. Only on Delete.
