Save and Close, Save and New, Delete buttons in XAF 8.2 Web detail view are different heights, different font sizes, and look messy.

I know I can write a controller to replace them, but I want all the standard behavior.

I liked the buttons without the icons better, but I realize that this is a matter of taste. However, somewhere between XAF 8.1 and XAF 8.2 the buttons changed and lost their consistency.

I have attached a screen shot. I have tried client machines on different PC's and the results are the same. I have tried changing the default font size on the browsers and this does not help.

Thank you for the report.
I have not managed to reproduce the problem with the MainDemo. Please see my screenshot in the attachment.
The problem with your buttons is caused by the fact that the CSS styles for XAF Web application in the 8.2 version were changed. You need to replace old styles with new ones obtained from our demos.
This breaking change is described in the Breaking Changes
.NET Product Line - v2008 vol 2.1 article on our site.
Please let me know if you still experience this problem. In this instance, we will test your project ourselves.

Dennis,

I'm glad there's a simple fix for this issue, but I have not been able to get it working yet. I carefully copied over the specified files from the MainDemo folder of XAF 8.2, but the problem is still there. I did it twice, rebuilt the solution, etc.

I've emailed a link to download my solution to support@devexpress.com. I put the Issue Id in the email subject. Thanks very much for taking a look at this for me.

The problem resolved itself.

Even though I had rebuilt the solution, closed and re-opened Visual Studio a number of times, etc., the problem remained.

A few minutes ago, while I was using the app, I noticed that the buttons had changed to the correct appearance.

So I guess whatever part of the page that was wrong got rebuilt.

Unless the problem recurs, which I don't expect, I'm all set with this one.
