                                  • Hello,

I noticed while using Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac that if you click a ribbon tab once, it selects the tab, click the same ribbon tab again and it collapses the ribbon. I like this idea. It allows you to first select a tab page and then minimize the ribbon to increase screen real-estate by clicking the active tab.

                                Hi Neal,

Thank you for contacting us. I believe that this functionality is already supported.
A double click on a tab page collapses RibbonControl.

If you need a different functionality, please describe the difference in greater detail.

                                Thanks
                                Dimitros

The Mac implementation is NOT a double-click. Clicking a tab page of an already active tab page collapses it. Find someone or an Apple store with Office for Mac and you'll see how it is implemented.

                                Hi Neal,

Thank you for the additional explanation. Now I see the difference and I think that this feature would be useful for our customers. So, I have passed your suggestion to our developers. They will consider the possibility to implement this functionality in the future.

                                Thanks,
                                Arsen.
