                                  • Hello Support, I am trying to format the DateTime display in DataGridView but the month section is not getting displayed properly. Month always shows 00 for any format specified. mm/dd/yyyy or mm or any other format corresponds to Month. I have attached the source code that I am using it in attachment as well as screens explaining the problem. with regards,

                                Hi Pratik,

The M letter should be capitalized in your format string. In this case, everything should work as expected.

                                Thanks,
                                Plato

oh. thank you very much for the response. I just found a problem with a group by, Format did not work with Group By. Group by is not taking the format of the MM/dd/yyyy while displaying group by date. it shows the default format. It works fine with normal display. It displays correctly in MM/dd/yyyy format. Do I have to specify Group By format somewhere else.

I have attached a screenshot and source code to explain in detail the problem.

Request you to include an example to explain the solution. code snippet shoul be fine.

                                Hi Pratik,

Thank you for the report. I see the problem, and should mention that this behavior is by design in the current version of the Suite. Please note that you can set the DisplayFormatString to any value, and so there can be a situation when different group rows show the same value. It will be possible to resolve this issue in the ASPxGridView control included in DXperience 8.1. You will have to handle the CustomGroupDisplayText event, and format the date time value as required.

                                Thanks,
                                Plato
