Please assist me with the following. I know your scheduler product allows the user to download an .ics file to add an appointment to their outlook calender.
How would I be able to create an .ics export from e.g. two date edit controls (one from dateTime the other to dateTime) and maybe a textbox as a subject. Could also have other options such as recurrance etc.
I use DevExpress controls and functions where ever possible and I would like to use your functions is this case as well.
Thank you for your message. You can use the solution from the How to import and export appointments by using ASPxUploadControl Code Central example to export appointments to an ICS file and download it. As for creating regular and recurring appointments programmatically, use the approach from the How to: Create Appointments with Various Recurrence Types Programmatically help section. Take a moment to look at the How to create an appointment and display it in the editing form automatically example that illustrates how to use this approach in ASP.NET environment.
