                                  • Hello,

I'm trying to use RichEditDocumentServer to modify Microsoft Word docx file server side. Il try to use Word model document, update Bookmarks and save my docx document as a pdf file.

The docx file update is ok but the pdf file generation does not work properly. The text formating is not well done. For example if i have a table right align in my docx file, and the table in the pdf file is left align.

I give you a sample project with my email.

Do you have any idea to solve the problem.

                                    Thanks a lot.

                                    Best regards,

                                ProtoWord.zip

                                Hi Patrick,

                                Thank you for your message.

It appears that the cause of problem is that the XtraRichEdit control does not support the floatingTablePosition property for floating objects. However, I agree with you that it would be great to implement this feature. So, I have registered a suggestion in our database: Floating Object - Support floatingTablePosition property. Please track it, to be informed on our progress over this item. Also, our developers slightly modify the template2.docx to avoid this problem.

                                Thanks,
                                Elliot
