Thank you for your report. I have managed to reproduce the described problem. This behavior looks like a bug. I will convert this question into a bug report, and our developers will do their best to fix the issue ASAP. Most likely this problem is caused by the new default filter behavior: Group Filter. It appears that this example is supposed to use the old filter while the new version uses a new group filter.

This bug appeared after a breaking change The PivotGroupFilterMode.Tree option disables the PivotGridField filter if the same field is found inside any group. was introduced in 10.2.5 update. To make a long story short, filter-level filters stopped working in field groups. I've attached a fixed demo source.
