                                  • Dictionary is ignored by ASPxSpellChecker at run time.
For latest attempt dictionary files are co-located with control to trigger spell check.
Attempts to use relative path did not work either.

Attached are screenshot and simplified aspc code.

                                Hi Anton,

I cannot help you using your code since I do not know where the dictionaries are actually located. Please take a look at the demo project shipped with the Suite. It shows how to set paths properly.

                                Thanks,
                                Plato

                                Hi,

For time being dictionaries are co-located in the same folder with control that contains grid to be spell checked.
Desired location would be something like "~/Dictionaries/English/..."
In both approaches, dictionary files are not found - words "one two" are not found in dictionary.

                                Thanks,
                                Anton

                                Hi Anton,

Please take a look at the demo project (ASPxSpellCheckerDemos) and its source code, available at:

                                C:\Users\Public\Documents\DevExpress 2010.1 Demos\Components\ASPxSpellChecker\CS\ASPxSpellCheckerDemos\

If you set paths as done in the demo project, everything will work properly.

                                Thanks,
                                Plato
