                                    But now I noticed, running the application on Windows Server 2003 with remote desktop (16bit color depth), it looks again a little bit scraggly. See the border of the "Z" and itself.

                                    Increasing the color depth of RDP to 24bit did not solve the problem.

                                    On Windows 7 it looks very good. Even with 16bit color depth!

                                    Btw. also reproduceable on Windows XP Mode (virtual pc -- on Win7)

                                    What's wrong?

                                    It did not work to select the dx version in the fields above... so
                                    using DX 6.50
