                                  • Hi,

                                    I’ve installed the latest (Feb) release of refactor for asp.net. I ‘m trying to test the “extract to user control” functionality. I can highlight code in an .aspx and if I right click I see this:
                                     
                                    So far so good, but if I click on it via my mouse, it does nothing (same if I hit “enter”). I did noticed a smaller menu then does show up in the lower left hand corner (with the same option):

                                     

                                    Again, clicking it or hitting enter does nothing.

                                    What am I doing wrong?

                                Hi Ian,

                                Thank you for the report, and for providing the screenshots.

                                I've reproduced the problem locally, and it looks like a bug in the current product version. I've converted this question to a bug report, and we'll do our best to fix this problem as soon as we can.

                                I hit "reply" to respond (per the email instructions) but instead am getting "edit issue" so I hope this doesn't mess up this ticket (there seems to be no other way to respond other than try this).

                                Hi Ian,

                                You'll certainly be notified as soon as this problem is fixed. I'm afraid I can't provide you with the exact time frame in which this problem will be fixed, but I assure you that our developers will do their best to fix it as soon as they can. Once this bug is fixed, you'll be able to request a build, containing the fix. Simply click the "Request Fix" button once the state of this report is changed to "Fixed".
