                                  • I am in process of evaluating xtraReports for our reporting needs. I have a query regarding XRTable which is used in the report. I would want to group/categorize different rows using some criteria. I find it difficult to explain here, so please refer the attached zip file containing the screen shots. The zip file contains - dataset format (Reporting Data.xls), current view (XRTable-CurView.jpg) and the desired view (XRTable-DesiredView.jpg). Please suggest me how would i be able to achieve the desired view from the current view. I really appreciate your help in this regard.

                                Hello,

Unfortunately the current XtraReports implementation doesn't allow you to merge table cells vertically.
We are aware of this limitation. See this suggestion posted in our database: XRTable - Table cells vertical merging (row span).
Currently, you can try to adjust the XRControl.ProcessDuplicates property to print a blank space, rather than a report control, when it contains a duplicate value.

                                Thank you,
                                Alex.
