                                  • Apoinments that do not overlap are not always on the same line. I believe there was an enhancement a while back that allowed non overlapping appointments to be on the same time line. Attached example with two similar sets of appoinments. The (7:25-13:11)(13:41-14:01) shows on 2 lines while the (6:25-12:59)(13:29-14:01) set shows on one line. I would expect either set to show on one line.

Press the different buttons to show the different appoinments.

                                Hello Dennis,

We've managed to research this problem, and we are sorry to inform you that this is the XtraScheduler's design behavior. The problem occurs when the appointment length is less than the current TimeScale value (the minimal time scale is set to 1 hour in the sample application you posted). The second appointment (2007/7/10, 13:41:00 - 2007/7/10, 14:01:00), which length is less than an hour, is automatically extended in both directions, so the overlapping does occur. This behavior is similar to the one found in MS Outlook, and we have no plans to alter it to preserve the integrity of the existing solutions. You can either activate another TimeScale in TimeLine mode, or extend the End Time of the second appointment (for example, set it to 14:40:00). I hope you agree that this is a design issue. Please let us know if you think there's another problem.

                                Thank you,
                                Alex.

Thanks so much for the information. Now that I know the design critial, I will work within its scope. Thanks so much for your time in researching this.
