Hello,
Thank you for your message. We are working on your request, but having trouble trying to reproduce the problem. We believe, that there could be a bug in PivotGrid, but it seems that we cannot replicate the structure of your project precisely to reproduce it. Would you please provide us with any additional information you can. A full source of sample project to reproduce the issue would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Paulo
I am unable to share the actual project or data so ...
I downloaded the "Adventure Works" sample data from http://msftdbprodsamples.codeplex.com/releases/view/37109
Installed it on local default instance
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SP3) - 10.0.5500.0 (X64) Sep 21 2011 22:45:45 Copyright (c) 1988-2008 Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
Deployed the Adventure Works.sln
Create a new VCL project
Added OLAP data source, Pivot Grid, Drill Down Data source and DBGrid
Note that I had to add a button to active the OLAP data source and call RetrieveFields() as it is impossible to setup the grid at design time - I'll raise a seperate ticket for that bug.
When you select cells in the pivot grid there are no records displayed in the drill down grid and a profiler running against SASS shows the error as described in my original post.
Included in the zip file is a saved (xml) profiler trace showing the exact error message.
