                                  • Bullets in bullet lists get replaced with the ? character. This is similar to issue B36238.

The scenario for this issue involves using the SaveDocument and LoadDocument methods.

                                    Steps to Reproduce:

This is the copy and paste approach to reproducing the bug. Enter a bullet list in the top RichEdit control. Select all and copy. Click on the 2nd RichEdit control and paste.

                                    Actual Results:

The bullet list in RichEdit2 has its bullets replaced with ? character.

                                    Expected Results:

Bullets in bullet list. Not the ? character.

                                Hi Chris,

Thank you for the report. Our developers confirmed that this problem is similar to the one registered at: Bullets are displayed incorrectly after copy/paste bullet list.
So, I believe it makes sense to duplicate this thread to the original bug report (B36238).
We'll keep you informed of any progress. Once the report's state changes, you'll receive an email notification from the Support Center. Then, you'll be able to request a public fix build prior to the official release date.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

                                Thanks,
                                Alex

I can still duplicate this bug and B36238 with agRichEdit 9.1.3. According to your comments in B36238 this bullet list issue should be fixed.

Can you verify that it was not fixed in 9.1.3? If this fix was not merged into your 9.1.3 update, can you give me an eta for the 9.1.4 update?

This bug is a significant issue for us and I was expecting 9.1.3 to solve it. Thanks!

                                Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to reproduce this problem by following the scenario described in the B36238 thread.
Could you please check whether this is your RTF document specific problem?
I'd greatly appreciate it if you posted any sample project, showing the issue, so that I can reproduce it on my side and then check for a solution.

                                Thanks,
                                Alex

                                Hi Chris,

Thanks for the clarification. I see the problem.
Unfortunately, it appears to be an actual AgRichEdit issue.
Our developers will continue working on this problem, and will let you know the results ASAP.

                                Thanks,
                                Alex
