                                  • This property will be used for a parent bookmark for a report. Now it always shows a report name. By default this property should have the same value as XtraReport.Name. But it should also be possible to set this property to String.Empty, and a parent bookmark shouldn't be shown at all.

                                Hello,

We're glad to inform you that this feature has been implemented in the next major version of the XtraReports suite (v2008 vol 3). In this version, we've added the Bookmark property to the XtraReport class. This property allows you to specify the name of a root bookmark. However, we made a decision not to provide the capability to hide a root bookmark because of different problems caused by this feature. So, in v2008 vol 3, if the XtraReport.Bookmark is set to String.Empty, this means that it will use a report's name as a name of a root bookmark.

PS. Note that v2008 vol 3 will be available later this year.

                                Best regards, Alan.
                                R&D, .NET Team.
