Silverlight Rich Editor Control
Enhanced Paragraph Formatting
This release introduces the ability to specify several important style attributes for a paragraph.
The following options affect pagination.
- The Page Break Before style option inserts an automatic page break before a selected paragraph, thus saving you from the difficulty of having to manually rebreak pages.
- The Keep lines together option will prevent an editor from inserting an automatic page break within a paragraph. Lines of text are kept together, so the paragraph is not split onto two different pages.
The Contextual spacing option (Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style) enables you to suppress the addition of an extra space between paragraphs of the same style.
A paragraph can be individually colored using the Background color option.
The Style Editor dialog enables end-users to rename and modify an existing style. Available options include the ability to change the basis of the current style, to specify the style which should be used for the following paragraph, and to change certain characteristics, such as Font, Paragraph and Tab Stops.
Floating Objects Support (Beta)
This release introduces a limited support for floating objects within a document (beta-version). Text boxes and floating pictures can be displayed, inserted, edited and stored in supported formats. The DXRichEdit control provides a command set and a Ribbon page for this purpose.
