Multiple Resource Display

The Multiple Resource Display (MRD) enables your end-users to browse several plans (for any entity such as an individual or office location, etc) simultaneously. To enable this feature, you simply need to provide several resources in the bound storage. Each resource is just an ID for a particular plan - it has a unique label and a caption to display within the calendar. As such, it doesn't matter which resource types you need to display - human resources, department resources, etc. Once resources have been created, the scheduler will display several parallel timelines. Following is a brief overview of the features available within the MRD.:

• If resources are present, you can specify whether plans should be grouped first by dates or by resources. Note that you can change the default grouping style and override it for particular view types (days view, week view and weeks view). (Screenshot)
• A resource navigator to scroll resources in different ways or to limit the number of resources that are visible in the view (Screenshot). This has been designed in such a way as to allow it's functionality to be easily extended when the need arises.
• Icons in resource headers. Along with captions and labels, icons are designed to help end-users distinguish between various resources. To make resource headers more attractive, you can rearrange the positions of captions and icons in four different ways (Screenshot).
• Resource caption word-wrap. The text can be placed across a single line and it will be clipped if it doesn't fit the caption's rectangle. Or it can be wrapped to the caption's rectangle (Screenshot).
• Timelines for different resources are automatically colored. (You can also provide colors for resources manually.)
• The scheduler provides a context menu allowing you to invoke the resource customization window. This enables end-users to show, hide and rearrange resources with ease.(Screenshot)
