Time Zone Support

The DevExpress XtraScheduler™ Suite allows you to specify the time zone at your current location. By default, time zone settings are obtained from a computer’s system time and appointments are displayed based upon the specified time zone. All time-dependent data can be stored in a database and translated to UTC (Universal Time) so as to prevent any discrepancies.

Multiple time rulers can be displayed simultaneously within the Day View. Each time ruler can include its own time zone setting and the Scheduler's time zone can differ from that of the time ruler. The picture below illustrates the use of multiple rulers - displaying appointments using the Mid-Atlantic time zone with time rulers for London, Los-Angeles and Beijing.

Reminder time is interpreted as UTC. When the current time in the local time zone of your application (translated to UTC) equals the trigger time of the reminder, an alert is fired.
