Over 20 advanced editors that can be used either standalone or within container controls
There are already over 20 controls included in the ASPxEditors Suite and there are more to come. By having a large number of controls at your disposal, you can ensure that you will always find the one that provides the best end-user experience. The editors included within the ASPxEditors Suite have been designed to significantly reduce the amount of work you must perform. They provide the following features making it much easier to create a fully-functional and easy-to-use data editing form.
The flexible design allows most our edit controls to be used standalone, or embedded in other container controls (like ASPxGridView or ASPxTreeList) for cell editing.
Our editors make data entry validation really easy with their support for masked input. Masks are useful when a string entered by an end-user into an editor should match a specific format. From date-time and numeric masks to regular expressions – you have a comprehensive set of possibilities at your disposal.

Our editors support format patterns, which can help you significantly improve display value readability. Editor display values can be formatted using the standard formatting mechanism. Also, you can display a prompt text (input watermark) for editors with blank values.

With just a few option settings, you can enable our built-in mechanism for advanced data input validation. You can combine several data validation conditions in a single control. Automatic client- and server-side validations are supported. We provide two built-in error indication solutions including error frames and error icons. You can opt to display validation errors directly within the editor, or in a specially designed panel.

A comprehensive client-side API is available for our controls. This functionality, which is then coupled with the ability to handle a rich set of client events, allows you to have full control over the control's behavior on the client side.

In addition to a number of built-in themes, you can use style properties and CSS for appearance customization. Templates that are available for most control elements, enable you to easily adjust and enhance a control layout.
